Hooded Crows  (Corvus [Corone] Corax)

Our founder birds are two WILD CAUGHT pairs from Russia.

Beautiful medium sized black and gray Crow from Western Europe, Eastern Asia and into parts of Russia.  The sexes are identical.

Very smart birds.  As a group the Corvids are the smartest of ALL birds when it comes to actual working intelligence.  Meaning when it comes to survival skills, none can compare with the Crows, Ravens, Jays and Magpies.  They have avast and complicated language.  They can intimidate almost any sound they hear – including the human voice!

They are very, very tough when it comes to dealing with cold weather, hot weather, germs, etc.  They have a much longer lifespan than most Pheasants.

Probably must be hand raised if you want tame birds for pets.
