Beautiful blue, chestnut and
white North American Quail. The
largest of the Quails found in the United States
They can be bred in pairs or
colony bred if given plenty of space and if all are introduced to the pen at
the same time. A new bird will not
be tolerated in a new group – at any age!!
The “intruder” would most certainty be promptly killed.
Fairly east to hatch under
Banty hens or in an incubator but needs lots of TLC to get started in their
first week. Once the are started
they are hardy.
